The Many Faces of Little Mr. Liam

Three weeks ago I became an aunt to another beautiful little boy, Liam Patrick! While spending the evening with both my nephews and my brother and his wife I took many pictures of this new little boy and now want to show his many faces he can already make.

He's quite fond of his hands and always has to be doing something with them.
My favorite - little Mr. Liam <3

Saratoga in the Spring

During Jeremy's visit here in New York this April, we got to enjoy an afternoon in Saratoga.
It was such a beautiful Spring day filled with flowers and animals.

There were ducks EVERYWHERE!
and the squirrels were nutty!
:)
The park was just beautiful! I couldn't get over the lovely trees.
Best spot in the park!
This little guy ran circles around us - I think he was posing....or hoping we'd feed him!

Enjoying the Little Things

Today my mom and I saw the start of the new baby geese. They were oh so cute and I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures!

One day they'll be full grown and they'll become the annoying birds that poop in my backyard and squawk all night long - but for now they're cute and I like them.

And then the day ended with a beautiful sunset and a little sun shower

Valentine's Day 2012

I love Valentine's Day. I know many think it's a day created by the card company - maybe it is, maybe it isn't but I love it anyway. It's a day that gives you an excuse to go out to dinner, eat things like chocolate even though your diet says you shouldn't and to be extra lovey-dovey to EVERYONE! (ok, maybe not everyone, but you can still be nice to everyone and be extra lovey-dovey to the people in your life you love.

This Valentine's Day was the first apart from my boyfriend, Jeremy, since I moved from Maine to New York :(
(but I was able to help my brother paint his house. what girl doesn't want to paint instead?? lol It was fun just not your typical V-Day). But even apart, my day was made special by my boyfriend and my parents: a fun dinner at Brown's Brewery where we all ate way too much and some fun times to follow.

Coming home from painting to get ready for dinner, I found a surprise from my guy waiting for me:

There's nothing more exciting than finding out someone sent you flowers! <3
Not that there was any doubt who it'd be from - but seeing addressed to "Cat McDade" I knew it'd be Jeremy :) he's the only one to mail me stuff addressed to my nickname
Inside we some beautiful tulips <3
in a lovely red vase (which goes great in my room)

...and underneath guess what I found??? CHOCOLATE <3 <3 <3
It's not like the little heart boxes from Walmart where there's 3 maybe 4 candies inside - there are 8!

How beautiful!!

My super cute gifts from my parents - the owl! Too cute from my mom, as well as the stylish boot toppers and colorful socks. My dad picked out the shirt - didn't he do a good job?? :)

Jeremy did a good job, didn't he <3 Looking forward to our visit when we can do our belated Valentine's Day date :)

My Grandfather's 80th Birthday

The wonderful Fee Family

My grandparents have 8 children, all of them married, have kids, and theirs kids are starting to get married and have kids of their own, so naturally, it's a big family and most of us showed up for the big event. It was an all-night event of family, food, laughs and love for the man who helped create the whole family.
