So I was able to get with my model to do a test shoot, just to try out some ideas and to get her use to the photo shoot and practice getting into the style of the shoot. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. Also the dress has change from the last post, it still needs to be shortened and I'm having a layer of black tulle added on top of the dress. 
I enjoy the emotion in the image of her laying on the floor.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo captured my attention because of the lighting. The dark and light effects divide the image vertically, and I think of everyone's dark side and light side. My daughter is bipolar and strives to find a balance of the two - a "gray area" so to speak.
ReplyDeleteMore mysterious, less cliche. Can your model co-create the character and perhaps bring some of her own style, "costume" or personal drama to the shoots. In high school, I remember a great deal of tension between the known and the imagined. Would it help to investigate this a bit more?
